Nodal Exchange

Contracts

Nodal Exchange offers power contracts at commercially significant hubs, zones and nodes in the following power markets: ISO-NE, NYISO, PJM, MISO, ERCOT, and CAISO. Contracts are for monthly terms for both peak and off-peak time periods, and for select locations for more granular off-peak periods (e.g. 7x8 and 2x16). Contracts are available for settlement to Locational Marginal Price (LMP), Energy + Congestion, or Energy only as published by the RTOs/ISOs, creating flexibility for participants to hedge positions for LMP and its components of Energy, Congestion, and Loss as appropriate.

Nodal Exchange offers contracts settling against Day Ahead LMP on ~1,800 hubs, zones and nodes. Nodal Exchange offers monthly term contracts, including current month, prompt month, and prompt month plus 1-11 on all locations. Additionally, Nodal Exchange offers a forward 48 months on select locations and a forward 68 months on over 90 locations.

Nodal Exchange offers over 100 contracts that settle against Real Time LMP. With these contracts, Participants are able to trade Real Time LMP on Nodal Exchange as well as Day Ahead / Real Time spreads (DARTs). The Real Time contracts are available for the current month plus 68 months forward. These contracts settle against over 50 locations and are available for both peak and off-peak time periods.

Nodal Exchange offers power contracts for Energy + Congestion for over 100 locations. These contracts settle against the Day Ahead Energy + Congestion prices published by RTOs/ISOs. These contracts are available for the current month plus 48 months forward.

Nodal exchange also offers Energy only contracts in ISO-NE, NYISO, PJM, and MISO that settle to both Day Ahead and Real Time Energy prices. These contracts are available for the current month plus 68 months forward.

Nodal Exchange also offers a natural gas contract for Henry Hub with 68 rolling months of expiries.
